Written as pretty-printed JSON to ~/.local/share/billpouch/identity.key.enc.

Fields

version: u8

Format version — currently 1.

salt: String

Hex-encoded 16-byte Argon2id salt.

nonce: String

Hex-encoded 12-byte ChaCha20-Poly1305 nonce.

ciphertext: String

Hex-encoded ChaCha20-Poly1305 ciphertext (includes the 16-byte auth tag).
